2-Day Root Cause Failure Analysis Training
The focus is on preparing plant-level technicians, engineers, and managers to deal with failed manufacturing assets, including skill sets of part inspection, failure mode recognition, data gathering strategies and skills, employment of diagnostic tools, and identification of systemic issues for site-wide correction. The class structure includes hands-on sessions with actual plant failed components, and the breakout sessions into collaborative problem-solving teams that interact with a custom script to simulate the challenges of finding all relevant data sources and diagnostic inputs that will lead to a successful RCFA outcome.

4-Day MLE Workshop
This workshop will help prepare the attendee for the Machinery Lubrication Engineer certification exam. This will review the Body of Knowledge for MLE, including elements such as asset management, machine reliability and maintenance strategies, tribology, friction, wear and lubrication fundamentals, achieving optimum reliability from machinery, common job and task-based skills for lubrication engineers, risk management, root cause analysis and troubleshooting, managing waste and environmental compliance, and much more. This workshop is not meant to be a comprehensive prep course for the MLE, but experienced individuals may find this workshop helpful in reviewing and preparing to take this exam.
IR Level I Training
Attendees certified on Level I Infrared Thermography Certification for predictive maintenance monitoring will learn basic camera setup and operation, thermal and infrared science fundamentals, thermal measurement and thermography safety. Instruction on proper image attainment and documentation will also be provided.
MRG Labs’ training meets the requirement set forth by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT). ASNT does not require an exam, but MRG provides a one-hour exam at the end of the training as part if the documentation for Infrared Level I certification.
IR Level II Training
This course will cover radiometric temperature measurement, emissivity, reflected temperature compensation and measurement resolution.

IR Thermography – Permit Holders

2-Day GTA Boot Camp
In this highly focused lubrication workshop, attendees will learn about the Grease Thief Analyzer and gain hands-on training and in-depth classroom instruction to perform grease analysis per ASTM D7918. The goal is to get firsthand knowledge of the sampling process, proper use of the Grease Thief sampling kits, streamlined analysis process including die extrusion, grease colorimetry, and many other tests.
