MLT/MLA Level I Class Description

This course will help prepare the attendee for either the Level 1 Machine Lubricant Analyst™ (MLA1) or the Machinery Lubrication Technician™ (MLT1) certification exams. The course will focus on proper greasing, oil lubrication methods, oil and grease sampling, and setting up and maintaining a lubricant analysis laboratory or lab provider relationship. MLA I training will cover the important topics of sampling and analysis and includes hands-on opportunities in an operating oil and grease analysis laboratory. The course also establishes technologies to monitor program success, ensuring optimal machinery reliability and plant productivity. The Dual course also provides an introduction to the field of condition monitoring using oil sampling and analysis.
