High Resolution Digital Microscope

This system offers 4K CMOS imaging with extended depth of field and high magnification up to 2000x, enabling detailed observation of wear patterns and surfaces. It allows viewing objects at angles up to 90 degrees and features polarized lighting, with adjustable illumination using ring and coaxial light sources.

Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS)

Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy is an atomic emission spectroscopy technique that generates elemental data for a sample by directing a laser at the target to create a plasma containing the target’s elemental constituents, then analyzing the emitted light (generated from the plasma) to detect the elements present in the sample.

No sample prep or vacuum required to perform the analysis. It is suitable for metal or metal alloys and surface composition. Can be performed directly on prepared membrane patches or Ferrography glass slides.

Parts Surface Analysis

Investigate and identify failure mechanisms with optical imagery to capture minute details, optimized lighting settings to enhance surface characteristics, and measurement tools for quantifiable data.

 

 Filter Particulate and Contamination Analysis

Isolate unknown particles and determine source material for corrective actions. For Filter Analysis, filter construction can be magnified and evaluated for damage. Deposition of particulate can be evaluated at the surface, along with other regions of the filter by disassembly and magnification. Damaged filter media and unusual or difficult to observe materials can be identified. For varnish potential Membrane Patch Colorimetry (MPC) Testing, observe the nature of varnish on the patch to characterize depositions of varying color in addition to just monitoring the MPC Delta E values.
